Lean Supply Chain Reading

Although nothing beats the use of a Lean Sensei to develop your lean skills out on the shop floor or in the office, a great deal of information can be gained from the experiences of the numbers of authors who have contributed to the development of Lean Supply Chain understanding over the years.

It would be impossible to review on one page all of the literature which is available. However, others have tried, and we have selected the best lists for you.

The standards are unavoidable

- the Bookstore at the Lean Enterprise Institute (U.S.)

- the Bookstore at the Lean Enterprise Academy (U.K.)

- the specialist publisher, Productivity Press.

There is also an excellent list on the Lean Affiliates website.

Our particular favourite however comes from Tom Southworth's Lean Printing blog. Although dating back to 2007, it is perhaps appropriate that what seems to be the first post on a printing blog turns out to be a very comprehensive and colourful list of the available literature.
